Deploy your Portfolio

First follow our quick setup guide to get devport running in your terminal.

Deploying

You can deploy using this command:

devport -d

And you should see the following:

INFO: Logged in as ianjennings
Uploading...Done!
OK: New portfolio deployed to ianjennings.developerportfolio.com

Static Assets

Everything in your /static directory will be zipped and uploaded to DevPort.

If this directory is large, this may take some time.

If you're only updating template files you will not need to wait for this upload to complete. They will be updated very quickly.

Deployments are complete overwrites, storing your history in GitHub is a great idea.

Custom Domains

You can map a custom domain through your user profile if you have DevPort Pro.
